i feel like infinite loop is D tier because of how trapping it is and the possibility to have a horrible life for infinity or be born and die like 5 seconds later. along with that though, it feels like an extremely self-centered and frankly lonely idea. if the universe/world resets when you die only to repeat again, then the existence of everything revolves around you. when you die and everything resets, what becomes of the people around you? do they simply cease to exist the moment that you die? do your parents only exist from the moment you were born and onwards, existing with the primary purpose of birthing and raising you? if the purpose of their existence is solely to be part of one's life, then were they ever real people in the first place? i think it deserves to be ranked lower than nothing for sure because of all of this. even if nothing follows death, there isn't anything to ignite the question of whether anything in your life really existed, because their existence is completely independent from your own. along with that, i also think that reincarnation deserves to be S tier rather than A. in the scenario that reincarnation is actually what happens after you die, i think that it would be rather comforting because of the infinite opportunities that come with it. to know that the aspirations or dreams you had in this life and were unable to be achieve can still be accomplished in one of the many lives you will live in the future is a nice thought.

How do you put Nothingness over heaven, like nothingness isn’t the worst in a way, but it’s still horrible. And it’s probably the most believable. We didn’t exist, there were billions of us before we were born, and there will be many more after us. Why focus on US humans, why care about us when there is the entire universe. There are galaxies out there which we don’t know about, we are just an atom in the grand scheme of whatever made everything. I am not even mad about heaven being lower than nothingness I am just now going through and entire panic attack because there’s always that chance there is nothing left for us.

You’re not considering the universe as an infinite reality if you do everything we know exists and will be repeated… So we would play games and like games on one the other infinite worlds. The better argument is that if a base reality civilization built a coded simulation game they would someday make their own simulations and if they had already made one they’d k ow how. We can’t yet create simulation worlds that work so we are either a base reality or we are the first simulation from the base.
